1. CSCTL Lesson Plan -1

This lesson plan helps differentiate among activities of various phases of a lesson. It explains how the phases of lessons differ from one another. When a teacher sees a need to emphasize a phase of a CSCTL lesson activities, teacher allocate more time to a phase where tsudents have challenges. Students engage more of the activities and address their concerns. For example, if students fail to see connections between their experiences and the lesson, teachers spend more time in the first phase of lesson. Students engage in activities of the Triggered Interest phase of lessons. If students cannot easily understand and apply resources, the teacher spends more time in the maintained interest phase of lessons. The same applies to the Sustained Interest phase, and so on. Each phase of a CSCTL lesson has its unique purpose, rationale, method, and activities. Teachers must understand these aspects to teach effectively
