(Our substitute teachers are mostly retired teachers and school administrators who want to remain active and engaged with educational activities)
We maintain a list of New York State certified teachers for substitute teaching. These educators are not only qualified but are also trained to continually hone their skills in CSCTL (Content and Strategy Centered Teaching and Learning) methodologies. They focus to create engaging learning environments, using innovative strategies that effectively structure learning activities and engage students. Our teachers emphasize CSCTL methodologies focused to engage and address students’ interests, ensuring that every child feels valued and motivated to participate actively in learning activities. Also, our commitment to ongoing professional development equips these substitutes teachers with the latest tools and techniques and help them to foster a strong and supportive learning atmosphere for all students.
(1) To engage our certified substitute teacher services, we must receive at least one day advance notice. We will respond to your request so you know we are on our way. (2) Each substitute teacher’s service is $250 per teacher per school day, and this fee is payable to CDOIL .ORG during the pay period.
